Some of you tonight, having heard the promises of God yet not - TopicsExpress

Some of you tonight, having heard the promises of God yet not seeing them in your life, or having been given a vision by God yet seeing none of it coming to pass, have been contemplating on helping Him out just in case He is struggling(As if our God would struggle over anything). Now the Word for you tonight is: Let us not birth any Ishmaels in our lives do to a lack of faith/patience to the promises of our God Rather let us remember that He is indeed the same EL Shaddai as revealed to Abraham [still Abram at that time] in Gen 17:1 for indeed our God is the God who makes something out of nothing. So if God has giving you a vision with a promise, wait on Him for He shall not break His Word. To often we try to assist God in birthing our purpose and end up birthing a blockade or even a curse to His Blessing. Now we read in the book of Genesis that God had made a covenant promise to Abram of a son, who would make him the father of nations, even as his son would make Sarai the mother of nations. Yet acting with little faith they both sought to speed things up and help God out. But they ended up birthing an enemy to Gods promised blessing. So God not only revealed who He was in a new way, He even went as far as to change Abram to Abraham, and Sarai to Sarah, thus giving them the purposed names which would be the parents of nations. Glory to God even as you are called Christian Friend, God is never late on His promise - wait on Him and see that He is true to His word, lest you birth a blockade that will prevent you from seeing His blessing. It is like a man who was fishing with his friend, having caught several large fish and throwing them back, then catching several small fish and keeping them. At that point his friend asked him Why did you throw all the large fish back and now your keeping the small fish to which the man responded My frying pan is only ten inches - Dont limit your view of how BIG your God is by what you have or see before you - expand your faith, knowing that God can indeed make something out of nothing. For our God is He Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] (Eph 3: 20 AMP) Praise God, so lets get super-charged up in our faith through prayer and the reading of His Word that we can walk this out, even as God told Abraham to walk it out walk and live habitually before Me and be perfect (blameless, wholehearted, complete).
