Some one ask me the other day how I could oppose Jihadist actions and still care very much about what was happening in Turkey. They sort of said I was sitting on both sides of the fence. This is my reply to that. I will tell you after studying history most of my life, that extremist of any type are dangerous. If you are over zealous about your political party, you are blind to its faults. If you are over zealous about you religion, then you see only one way to honor God. All of these things put blinders on a person to love and compassion. I will tell all of you out there that think that all Muslim people are extremist, that I have met just as many Christians with the same issue. How many people were put to the sword in the Crusades? How many good , honest folk were burned at the stake in the name of God? How many Natives ripped from their families because you wanted them to see God as you do? When you remove LOVE from the equation, that is when people die. I see one way to get to my Creator; and that is through love. There Rant over
