Some people are arseholes! Actually, Im inclined to use the C word. Happily walking along with Moo on the leash & Little Miss Mischief by my side. Walk past a house where a large dog, maybe a wolfhound is growling. The hackles on both dogs are upright, but the owner of the other dog insists on having a conversation. I keep saying, We must go now. I dont think the dogs like each other We start walking away. For sport, the owner lets his dog go. The wolfhound races in to attack my Moo, as Im still holding his leash I get dragged into the turmoil. I push LMM out of harms way while I let go of the leash, heartbreakingly fear that Moo will be ripped apart. As much as it annoys the bejeesus out of me, LMM always has to drag home a big stick she finds on our walks. Luckily todays stick collection was more of a tree limb. Grab it off LMM and start thunking the wolfhound in the head & back. Of course the owner stops laughing and races for his dog. Let off enough swear words to make both mine & LMMs normally straight hair curl like Shirley Temple. Escape from the fray, all three of us shaking, Moo & I have some new scratches, bruises to show off and all LMM can say is, Its ok, I wont dob you into dad for swearing Gee, thanks kid.
