Some people are more concerned as how a rape happened in Uber, than how a crime happened at all. What if it happened with someone travelling on scooter or bus - I am wondering these some people would have sighed actually a relief - at least it cannot happen to us - the Uber class. It is a lesson for all, next time, direct all your aghast facebook comments against crime even when a woman in Bastar is dragged out of her house and brutally butchered in male dominance. Next time, go light some candles on India Gate when 14 UP/Bihar (aka Bhaiyyas) lads in their early 20s are massacred by Naxals and mocked by the government (and opposition) - but for the CRPF men dying in dozens, those Naxals would visit you in your South Delhi poshness too. Shed real tears for jawans killed by terrorists in J&K than shed facebook tears on an Australian who died in a freak accident. And do this not for national service but for your own selfish reason. Between a fidayeen and a stray cricket - the former stands a better chance of someday hitting you - even in the Uber.
