Some people assume if youre smiling all the time, having fun, and living life to the fullest, have lots of friends, a loving spouse, etc. , that you have the perfect life. There is no such thing! Tomorrow, I will be 44 years old, and this journey has been filled with ups and downs, failures and successes, good choices and bad ones, heartbreak and headaches, poverty and prosperity, sickness and health: you name it, Ive lived it! In fact, I have extreme challenges, at this very moment. Not everyone loves me! In fact, there are some who all out dislike me. My family experiences attacks from others just like yours. I cry. I get angry. I experience jealousy in my heart. I get discouraged. Thats just life. BUT, theres a deep seated joy, and unshakable faith, a undying love in my heart, and a vision in my mind that keeps me focused on the beauty of life, the plan and purpose that I must fulfill, and a gratitude for every single blessing I receive; and, that my friends is living! I am so grateful to be alive, to see another year, to have a God who loves me more than I can imagine, and to have family and friends to share that with. Happy Birthday to Me!
