Some people choose to be scaffolding and others choose to be brick/mortar. Just know its a choice in many cases. Characteristically, brick/mortar doesnt make a lot of noise. It stands & stays in place. Having done construction with my dad, I discovered that scaffolding makes a lot of noise. It squeaks at every movement/gesture. It complete intent is to facilitate the building process. Note this: We always took it down when the building phase was complete.
