Some people do not like bully dogs, and some people do. In my own family there is even this divide. I happen to like them a lot, after working with them for about 8 years. However, everyone is entitled to their own opinion in our fair country. What they are no entitled to is lying and scamming. This article I am posting is not easy to read. And it is written by a person that literally hates pitties. As I said, that is her own business. HOWEVER, what I do believe is that this is the best article I have ever read about Spindletop. Not a lot of people know that dog rescue can be a real scam. There are some nefarious individuals who will collect funds on dogs, and then pull them from shelter and ship them to places THEY NEVER SAW. They call it rescue, but in fact, in Spindletop, and in many other Refuges dogs have died gruesome awful deaths, laughed at while they suffered in cages in the heat. I have also found this article to be exceptionally well written. So, while I cannot subscribe to any of the beliefs of those affiliated with such sites as Craven Desires, Dogsbite, Dawn James, et al, I can recommend this article. Take special note at the end of this article of the many people coming forward, waving their photos in the faces of authorities and asking what happened to their dogs. Well, this is what happened to many of them. They suffered hideous deaths because no one even cared to check out the place they were going. Watch where you send your money.
