Some people dont appreciate what my committee has done in a short space of time. The funds we raised through sponsorship was purely for the Golden Welcome and not for family commitments. Certain people expected to be fed roasted chicken, repair their steps etc etc. Get real! It is my duty as chairman of this vibrant committee to ensure funds are acquitted and to report to our sponsors. My committee does not have to report to the families of our champions but as a matter of courtesy we will extend an invitation to the families to attend our sponsors night.
