Some people feel that Im too negative with the plp and fnm, so let me paint a picture of what some want to hear and you be the judge. The PLP (or FNM) is working swiftly and diligently to restore your trust in their ardent endeavor to socially and economically empower its people. Sustainable agriculture will be such that the importation of food will be greatly reduced.solar energy and other forms of renewable energy will significantly reduce your BEC bill. VATwill be warmly embraced by the Bahamian people because the gov has their best interest at heart, and it WILL reduce the debt level because this gov is so fiscally responsible. The poor and middle class will greatly benefit from VAT and businesses will remain open and progressive, no worries there. The PLP or FNM will pass the FOA, deal with corruption, give us an account of who stole the 10 million dollars for medications, deal with the Letter of Intent, and listen to the Bahamian Electorate concerning future reforendi. They will finally tackle illegal immigration and promise never to exchange legal status for votes. They will stop allowing ships to keep their stores open while in port. The PM will not be allowed to serve more than 2 terms because they recognize how power can go to your head. Constitutional reform will be a reality as well as an Ombudsman appointed . Land will be made available to us so we can build on a property, while using that property as collateral. And of course health care and education will be a priority. There will never be a 10 million dollar scandal in the PHA again! Ok its election time and you know within your heart that this party will move this country forward. They are a united party, no power struggling to the point where the plans of the country are somewhere in the backburner. You have every confidence that after election, when all the excitement has died down, the rallies are over and the passionate campaigning has finished, this party will be that real change you so want. They are going to give you the tools you need to build your business, community etc. If this is what you honestly believe then by all means cast your vote. Your children have a great future under their leadership. They believe in Bahamians and can be trusted because they are gonna deliver. So guess we dont need the DNA afterall. The PLP or FNM has it covered.
