Some people have always dispute Lewis opposition level. Which I find it ridiculous as his resume speaks for itself. Here is Lewis fighting Mavrovic, at that time the most avoided heavyweight in Europe. And obviously, Zeljko was a low risk / high reward type fighter. Thus, you dont hear about guys like Mercer, Holyfield etc. wanting to fight him. Mavrovic was truly a monster - He had power, decent skills, but whats so freakish about him is that he weighed only 214 pounds but he was impossible to knock out. Lewis landed enough punches in this fight to KO 3 opponents yet Zeljko just kept on coming. Lewis did not expect such a tough fight and Zeljko put up a memorable performance here. Maloney said He must have 250 pounds of steel in that chin!.
