Some people have remarked that Im talking out of my arse when I speak of summer and winter, when I speak of seasons, in Malaysia. According to them, we have a different typa season in our parts - wet and relatively dry. Some even go so far as to say such references to summer, autumn, winter, spring is a bit toya. So wanna be. You know I dont care so much about opinions from the stupid about me. I think Ive made that pretty obvious. I just care about your feelings and how I can help you with that. But the seasons issue has been pointed out by some really smart people. I mean, of course youd have to be smart to understand seasons and the idea of differentiations in humans due to them. So I thought Id pen a short note or two to you smarty pants:- 1 the Sun affects our entire being, as human beings, as creatures, as things made up of the same stuff as the Sun and continuously receiving rays from it, rays which inspire evolution; 2 we who are at the equator receive a continuous blast of summer throughout the year; 3 they, who are not, receive their full blast in summer only, which results in serious dramatic evolutionary changes over there happening according to season; 4 those changes didnt really matter to us before cos they were there and we were here and it took a relatively long time for there to be here and here to be there; and 5 these days, in this borderless world, what happens to them (evolutionarily speaking) happens to us real fast, almost instantaneously. I know its a bit tricky to get your head around but the point Im trying to make is that I am not talking out of my arse when I talk about seasons. There is a whole lot of reasoning behind it. Which I lay out for your reckoning.
