Some people lament the 24-7 contact many of us have with our jobs via computer or primarily cell This instant connectivity has also impacted family and friend life however. I have relatives that call. If they do not reach instantly they may or may not leave a message. But even when a message is left they are calling again and again. And there isnt even an emergency. What is even more ironic is that the incessant callers are all older and of a age to easily remember the days when if someone wasnt home you could not contact them because our land line phones w were the only means to be reached. Younger people will simply leave a message or text one and wait for you to get back to them
