Some people may say Well, duh, but while our heuristic reasoning on incomplete correlation has produced emotions that mirror the same initial findings, it is important to note that they are initial findings, and to not test even what we consider obvious is to fall prey to common sense the popular beliefs, all too vulnerable to social inertia and deindividuation. Cherish doubt, for it reminds us that we are not intrinsically rational animals.
