Some people may think that I have been dealt a pretty crappy hand - TopicsExpress

Some people may think that I have been dealt a pretty crappy hand this year... so I would be looking forward to a new, fresh, and healthy start with 2015 in our sight. Perhaps... but this year has not been a total loss... We were blessed to spend time with family at weddings (Congrats to Matthew and Aryn, Jenna and Quinn, and Randy and Heidi)... A trip to Aruba with Shaylyn and dozens of family and NEW friends... a chance of a lifetime.. I met up with a lot of classmates at our 30 year class reunion... which was simply wonderful!! Our summer party went off without any major hitches (or injuries..; lol), a great summer camp for Shay and soccer season, and the start of another basketball season... a past time I seriously enjoy. And let us not forget the addition of a beautiful little great nephew Parker (congrats to the Wrights!!) However, with the challenges I have had this year... I have met so many incredibly wonderful people that I cannot thank through FB... but I can thank my FB supporters, my family and my friends. I cannot stress how important it is for people to stop being so hateful, petty and selfish. I have personally seen how selfless people can be... it really is simple. I also see how shallow people can be... and although I do not make New Years resolutions, I do want to make sure that each and everyone of you that have given a part of yourself to me... I want to sincerely thank you from the bottom of this ramshackled beaten up heart... kidney... arteries... and other body parts.... lol. For those of you not in the loop, you need not be... I dont need people coming out of the woodwork inquiring about my ailments, because if you did not know what is going on by now, it really need not be of concern. I am going to be ok some day... but I am not here to dwell on what is or was, but focus on what will be. The biggest thing is to love deeply, sincerely, and let the judgement of others go and find some inner peace. I cannot express enough how important that has been over the last 1/2 of the year and how much it will mean as we go into 2015. God bless all of you, be safe, be happy, and be merry!
