Some people posting on this page appear convinced that a supermarket, offices or a housing estate will be built on Perdiswell Park and a stadium is the best way to prevent it (which is, in itself, a questionable conclusion). Evidence to support these claims of ‘inevitable’ development has not been provided, despite this being requested each time. Protect Perdiswell Park’s supporters would naturally be invited to turn the campaign to challenge any other unwelcome development that threatened the Park, if there is any grounds to think they exist. But it is suggested that anyone mentioning such threats is at best misguided, or at worst intentionally spreading misinformation in order to support their own aims. Baseless claims will be called out as BUNK! So if this is not just scare tactics, if there IS evidence, feel free to post links, relevant references or articles below. Please, go right ahead.
