An academic from Oxford has pronounced an aparent Hinduness on Alama Iqbal, Iqbal famously denied any Hindu association and his Kashmiri Pandit lineage became a reason for his reinforcement of radical Muslim association rather than anything to do with the larger discourse on a common Indian or Hindu identity or lineage. But his poems that deal with Hindu mythology cannot become a reference point or a conversation starter between scholars and intellectuals across the frontiers in South Asia. Such assertions are a silent acceptance supremacist tendencies of religious affiliations specially in politics.
