Some people run for the School Board with no qualifications and no background. They make some noise then abruptly disappear, never to be heard from again. None of them attended a school board meeting before their race, and none of them remained involved after they lost. Weve seen them come and weve seen them go. A partial list includes Lowell Levine, Steven Ledewitz, John Adams, Ron Wood, Dean Grossman, Jean Dowling (no relation) and Christine Jax. In this election we will add Erica Whitfield, David Mech, Larry Rosenzweig, and John Hartman. Only die-hard trivia experts will remember their names in a few weeks.
