Some people should not follow the golden rule. Why? Because they dont hold themselves in high regard, engage in self-destructive behavior, and ultimately, dont want to be treated well because they dont feel they deserve it. So when they treat others how they want to be treated, they probably end up hurting them. So what should we do? A good first step is making sure we love ourselves so we can give love to others. From there, let God fill in the love gaps where youre just not able.
