Some people tend to think more highly of themselves than they ought. There are others who think more lowly than they should. In Romans 12:3 we are told, Not to think of ourselves more highly than we ought, but to think soberly. A Godly sense of self-worth is the key. God sees you as His own, a person of infinite worth. We are to devote ourselves to improving the moral fiber of our lives. God isnt measuring us with a yardstick judging how good we are. Rather, as you spend time in His presence, He wants to fill your life and heal your heart with His great love for you. Just think if you were totally at peace, filled with joy, overflowing with gratitude, what could sin and evil offer? In this life we will never reach full spiritual maturity. We can experience a little of what heaven is like as we allow Gods love to transform us.
