Some people think the working poor, the jobless, the homeless, the hungry -- those on the bottom rung of the socioeconomic ladder -- are the entitled freeloaders to focus on and blame, because those on the TOP rung spend a WHOLE LOT OF MONEY on media propaganda to perpetuate that myth. They also contribute truck-loads of financial contributions (bribes) to politicians who will protect their tax loopholes and keep Corporate and Capital Gains tax-rates low. The wealthy also simply evade taxes altogether by stashing their profits in the places like the Cayman Islands. The Corporate/GOP Partys tried-and true strategy of Divide and Conquer is very effective. They pit the Working class against those who are on the rung beneath them so they will never look upward at themselves, comfortably ensconced at the top. Folks like FOXs Hannity, Rush Limbaugh Glen Beck, etc., are each paid 10-20 million dollars a year to sell garbage to the gullible. It is time for we Americans in the bottom 99% to quit fighting among ourselves and LOOK UPWARD at the 1% who feel TRULY ENTITLED. And that doesnt mean getting rid of government it means demanding that politicians represent and work for OUR well-being, rather than the wealthy and powerful who stuff their pockets with cash. And get RID of the ones who refuse to represent us. ~Brian Enright
