Some pics from an amazing summit of Pikes Peak on Monday.. It took a full day sunup to sundown but timed it just right w the help of the amazing Kerina finding the seldom seen trail :) also, called search and rescue bc two kids from Chicago were headed up in the equivalent of a sweatsuit and one small pack w water between them- thought they were joking when I saw their tennis shoes about having come up from Crags until we got down and saw the car from Illinois in the lot... Heard back from said S&R in El Paso county- they found them above tree line behind a rock w no food, water or warm gear with -15 windchill and dropping- that said, be careful and have fun as winter summits are amazing!!!
