Some practical matters (blah). Yes, there are still quite a few Bone Marrow For Life fundraising buckets out there. I promise you we havent forgotten about these and they are likely to be picked up next week by my new surrogate best chick friend (on Anges behalf), Paula and/or her team. It is important we finalise the money and get it tucked away safely into the trust account. Then we will also, at last,be able to announce a final figure. I am excited about more positive correspondence with Leukaemia & Blood Cancer NZ as they are totally on the same page as us. They acknowledge that the BMFL supporters are not only financially, but emotionally invested in what happens with the money. They are also insistent that whatever the money is used for will continue the legacy of an incredible woman and a battle so mightily fought. Long way of saying... watch this space. As soon as we have announcements to make, I promise you will know :) Team Ange x
