Some questions after watching Jaws for about the 4,173rd time: - Where did Hooper get the boat they took out at night to search for the shark? When he arrives on the island he just has a leather bag and has been dropped off at the docks. So how does he have access to a sleek powerboat with state-of-the-art lights, sonar etc? - Who is Quints little helper? The really old little guy wearing the orange leather cap? He never says a word, but you see him at the town hall meeting and helping to load the Orca. What was his name? That had to be the easiest supporting actor role ever. - People are smoking, but you never see an actual pack of cigarettes. Pre-product placement movies... - When Chief Brody throws the oxygen tank in the sharks mouth, we see it turn sideways, yet in the climactic sequence the tank is turned lengthwise, facing out. How did this happen, and how did the shark not manage to destroy itself biting down on that thing? Still one of my favorite movies ever. And theres no greater scene than Quints Indianapolis soliloquy. Epic.
