Some quick notes from someone who reads the posts in this group religiously but rarely comments: 1. One way to make your post or comment more easily readable is to use short, to-the-point paragraphs, rather than a large block of text. To do this in a post, you can just press enter, but to do it in a comment (so as to prevent accidentally submitting it) use shift+enter. 2. By now, most people are aware that using caps-lock for entire sentences is a big no-no, especially online. It is worth noting that this also applies to individual words as well, because it still comes off as though you are shouting. You are far more likely to receive a helpful, well thought-out response by avoiding their use. 3. There are many more people like me who don’t comment often, but read almost every post. We don’t like trolls either, but we’re all hoping and praying that you don’t respond to them when they inevitably show up. Trust me, you’re not going to feel better when you reply to that person for the fourth, fifth, or sixth time. 4. I don’t own any pets, but if I may, I’d like to recommend a gift for yours this holiday season: microchip them if they arent already. This could save you a lot of hassle and/or heartache in the future. Here’s some basic information from the Humane Society:
