Some random on FB I never met hit me up saying Hope to see you at Youmacon.....and I politely declined. When I take trips I go to unwind and see friends. If I make new friends thats fine. But people on FB who never talk to me but hope to see me is weird. As a young woman who has now had 2 weird insidents with people I didnt know that made me VERY uncomfortable Im done humoring that. The dude got mad and took it personal but Im about my safety first and foremost and just like I wouldnt meet some random I never spoke to in San Diego, Im not a fan for it at cons nor anywhere else. If you sit on my Fb and watch and dont speak to me so I can get a vibe of whom you are....dont hope to see me anywhere. Thats just weird. So far all Im seeing in life though is being honest just makes people mad. But Im sorry I go to cons to have a good time not wonder when the random man Idk with the lack of photos of himself is going to approach me and what hes going to want. If this makes me rude, so be it. I rather be safe and rude...then polite and God knows what. I dont put nothing past anyone.
