Some reckless parenting advise for my friends who have been saving for their childs education.... SPEND THE MONEY!! Take a vacation with your kids. Make some memories. That college fund (unless your have serious wealth) wont come close to footing the bill. You may as well enjoy it because that little kid is going to grow up faster than you can imagine and will need loans ANYWAY!!!! Second word of advise....No matter how much YOU hate Apple, your childs educators do not hate Apple. Just buy them the Apple because eventually someone more important than you will tell you that your childs education depends on them having the Apple. Third...Throw fashion to the wind and wear comfy (yet stylish so we dont embarass the freshman) clothes and shoes to all college visits and orientations. Layers are recommended and some buidings are cold and some feel like the gates of hell. It really, really makes a difference in your attitude and how much information you will retain. Now we wait for smarty pants to figure out how she can take her smarty girl classes all at the same time and then we price books. Im only a tad concerned about them saving this for last. $$$$$$$📚📒📔📠💻📀$$$$$$$$
