Some say It doesnt matter what people think of me. It only matters what GOD thinks. Really?? Then, youre going to have a hard time in the world. So when you go to work, you dont care what you boss thinks. Yes, you do, or else youll get fired. So if you have children who are married, you want their spouse to have that attitude. I dont. Luke 2:52 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. We confuse the Vertical (God-to-man, man-to-God) with the Horizontal (man-to-man). Vertical. Every mans identity is CHRIST. Gods view and opinion of never changes based on what we do or dont do. His unconditional love. Horizontal. But for the sake of another mans conscience, I can identify with that man, woman, teen or child, where theyre at, be on their level so-to-speak, that they might see their true identity, CHRIST. I am able, because I have the MIND of CHRIST. Brother Paul wrote about this a lot in his letters. Started with the vertical then moved onto the horizontal. Read Romans & Ephesians, for example. JESUS, GODs Word, HIS Wisdom, conquered the world and its wisdom of trying to produce GODs quality of life by works. The finished work of JESUS. BUT He didnt get rid of the world and its wisdom.
