Some scientists speculated that Tyrannosaurus rex was solely a scavenger, but new evidence shows that they at least hunted live prey occasionally. How do they know that the T. Rex tooth didn’t come out while eating a dead animal? The bone around the tooth regenerated and healed, indicating that it escaped being dinner (on that occasion, at least).
