Some sights I saw at the Singapore Toys Games Comics Convention - TopicsExpress

Some sights I saw at the Singapore Toys Games Comics Convention 2014, Marina Bay Sands Exhibition Centre. The artist wearing traditional Japanese yukata, was writing the Japanese word equivalent of Peace, which is my word I gave him. Cost me 10 Singapore Dollars. Nice one. He rolled the calligraphy up and used his bare toes to hold it in a cylindrical form whilst he tied the string around the finished work. So I now have artist toe-jam as well. While he was painting, the Otakus next to me were dancing and singing along to the anime-style music played by a live DJ just behind the artist. I also bought a doggie art print from artist Shikee for 10 dollars Very cute print of his ink sketch. And of course, I must support Singapore comic artists, so I bought the last copy of Singapores Greatest Comics at half price. I resisted getting the full cosplay superhero generic bodysuit ! I resisted getting the cute anime-cat-on-head headbands and similar. I resisted FunkToys - once you start collecting those, it never ends. I also made some new cosplay acquaintances. More photos of them later.
