Some signs that later next week we may see a ridge of high pressure building in and we may drag some warmer air into at least south/southeastern parts of the UK for a time with temperatures perhaps reaching the mid twenties in the south/south east but closer to the seasonal average further north/north west. Otherwise the outlook continues to be mixed with unsettled spells interspersed by brief more settled conditions and temperatures close to the seasonal average, and any warmer and more settled conditions later next week would likely be brief as low pressure lurks near by to the north/north west of the UK. No sign of any great or prolonged warmth/heat or settled conditions, but perhaps a brief window of warmer and bright weather for at least southern areas late next week. Full week ahead forecast will be up late Sunday.
