Some sincere advice for my friends inshaa Allah. I give this reminder periodically because it is very important for both me and all. We should be very avid to fulfill our words. Some of us very subtly end up distressing other people just because we dont think twice before we speak. Before we give our word to someone. .. before those words come out we need to literally feel fearful and scared. Hence we should try our best not to give our word... rather we should just do. There must be something we have said that hasnt been fulfilled. A common example today could be a sister saying I will call you in a few mins (not even saying inshaa Allah) and the sister in question waits and forgoes her daily activity waiting for this call. Then the sister doesnt call and she does not even apologise. If this sister continually says words like this to her sister then undoubtedly that sister will feel upset and aggrevated. She may not make it clear but she will be upset at heart. Eventually, this sister knows not to trust this sister anymore. Very sad, but very true. Some of us sadly dont even say inshaa Allah after our pledges. Probably one reason why one cannot carry out their word. So we shouldnt be heedless and inconsiderate. We must try our best to be truthful in words. We need to learn to keep quiet until we are sure our speaking will be of some benefit inshaa Allah. I apologise for all of my words I have broken with you : ) do inform me if I have... I need to know inshaa Allah. May Allah Taalaa grant us all truthfulness and honesty through His infinite mercy and grace. Ameen ya Rabb!
