Some things I have learned this year. A dog is the truest - TopicsExpress

Some things I have learned this year. A dog is the truest friend you will ever have- fact, some people will be offended by that. That is o.k. You can keep puking long after you thought you had nothing left. Same goes for diarrhea. People will always surprise you, sometimes for the good, sometimes not. You truly can whippersnip dog poop. People will always judge you when they cant actually see what you are going through, even when they may not mean to. The people you think are your friends probably are, the ones you have to question probably arent. Money isnt everything, and you should never believe it is. Love is what you take with you when you die, nothing else. No one person has ever been truly successful without some help along the way, no matter what they may tell you. Sometimes you are the pigeon, sometimes you are the statue. You can never go wrong with the truth, give it freely and without intention to harm and you will never hurt your character. Fact: the truth may not always set you free, but it is always better than a lie. A dog will teach you more things about what really matters in life than any person or book ever could. How you see yourself, how others see you, how you think others see you matters not through the eyes of your dog. Refer to yourself through his eyes and you will never lack in self-confidence. Ever. Give love freely, even in the smallest of gestures, even to strangers, you never know how many lives you may save. Always give everything your all, otherwise why would you bother even trying? Cry when you have to, scream when you need to, you were given the ability for a reason. I have learned that it is possible to be loved unconditionally by someone besides a dog, and I have also learned I will never again accept anything less. I have learned that even though I have lost many things along the way, I have never lost myself, and that is awesome. I have learned that the length of time you have known someone doesnt mean a thing if they are making your life harder or miserable- cut them loose. The best lesson I learned this year was that despite the people who judged me and tried to make my life a living hell, I learned I was stronger than that, stronger than them, and I will survive. ♫♫♫ I will survive ♫♫♫ Without them and despite them. The best revenge after all is living well. Happy New Year Lizards!!!!!!!! Peace and love.
