Some things that made today just really lovely: 1.) Got to support a cool artist at the Unfair and buy a pretty cheap melted vinyl record bowl. 2.) Officially scarf weather. 3.) Long walk down Bardstown Road in which the people around me looked happy and energized and they had whipped out their favorite boots/scarves/sweaters and they were walking their dogs, who looked ecstatic. 4.) The Elephant March people were walking in front of me and they had their Honk if you love elephants signs and there was so much honking, I think even a bus honked. 5.) Got my coffee, got to work on my favorite writing project (still thanks to Jamey Belin for randomly and unknowingly selecting that one when I texted him and asked him to pick a number). 6.) Stopped to listen to a busker on the way back. (There should be a way to do writing busking...I guess you could do slam poetry, but Im better at prose and its not as read-out-loud-in-a-public-setting-in-hopes-of-drawing-some-attention-able, especially since Im in the outlining stages of the current WIP. So nvm) And, while I dont have a lot of money rn, it was a rare occasion on which I had cash, so I got to tip said busker. 7.) Everything was just generally so nice and autumny and perfect.
