Some thoughts about todays Thanksgiving dinner. You think our time together cant get any better, but it does. I had someone ask me today if they could be a member in the church. I smiled and told them we dont work like that. You decide when you want to be a part. They had only been to one Sunday and today was their second time with us. They told me they felt like they found their family. Well, I told them, I guess you are a member now. The person next to them said thats what happened to them. They came one time and found a family. We are all broken people. We all seem to have bigger than life personalities that would normally swallow everyone up around them yet we have place with each other. We are fiercely committed to each other and what God is doing among us. His mercy and grace seems to weave a wonder in our midst and through our weaknesses . I am truly humbled and excited to be a part of this. Cant wait till 3 PM today in the park.
