Some thoughts on growing older (I turn 60 next month). 1) My body requires more maintenance but my mind has more capacity and files. Its just getting to the files when I need them that becomes the challenge occasionally, :-). 2) I would not trade the wisdom Ive gained through affliction & hardship; for an easier life. 3) Ive learned that true friendships are real and dependable. In the darkest hours, you discover who you can lean on. 4) Family is such an undeserved reward from God. They bring joy, laughter & happiness beyond measure. Treasure them by making them your priority. 5) Things are LESS important, people are MORE important. 6) The world that is unseen will last and the world that is seen will fade away. 7) Surrendering to Gods plan for my life should always be my first choice not my last one. 8) Kindness, generosity, patience, forgiveness and faithfulness reflect the heart of God more than all the talent in the world put together. 9) Teachableness, humility, loyalty and transparency will always experience an unprecedented overflow of Gods grace and favor. 10) Be who God made you. Steward it, develop it and then give it back to Him for His purposes and good pleasure.g
