Some time ago I blasted my child on FB for doing less than her best...many questioned & even disagreed with (not that I cared) my method of punishment. I stood firmly then & I stand firmly now to say I will NOT accept less than her best effort & I PROUDLY say today that old school raising with a new school flair works!! My child came home today with a progress report showing ALL of her grades had proved!! From 1 B & 5 Cs to 2 As, 3 Bs & 1 C & that C is a default grade & I was told that she really has an A in that class once 1 assignment is averaged in!! I am hard on my child cause I KNOW she is capable of better than what she was displaying!! So proud of my baby & I have NO regrets of my methods. Getting prepared for the real world starts at home!! Way to go Anais!! I was asked if she would get her phone back now...NOPE! 4 more weeks to stay focused then she can talk ALL SUMMER LONG! #lookingforscholarships #Iaintgotnomoney #onlywantthebestforher
