Some time ago, I had a friend. Actually, both he and his wife were included. Because of their age, the end was coming up fast and my resources to make their lives better was well beyond my ability. I thought about solutions. Was there anyone out there who might help them, regardless of weather they could not help themselves or were too proud to ask. These two people had been devoted to their particular religion all their lives. They had participated, they had given a portion of their income to help advance the ideas. My light bulb came on. Their little country church could not retain a minister nor meet their operation overhead; it was dying. My plan was to call the largest church of their religion in my community that would consider them. Surely, I could find a good person in all that mass of people. I called the minister and expressed my concern. I asked for advice in how to go about making the last few moments of my friends lives a good experience. He did not hesitate. These people are not a member of my church; you will need to look someplace else. And you dare to think all other religions are bad, that your way is the only way? Please..... Give me a break.
