Some time ago, Tim Ratcliffe, from the 350.org campaign team, was explaining to all FYEG activists, in the columns of the Ecosprinter, the need to get engaged in the FossilFree campaign at the occasion of COP 19. ecosprinter.eu/blog/divestment-a-strategy-to-bring-a-rogue-industry-under-control-by-350-org/ The last tour-stop is tonight in London -- and 350.org has put together a live streaming of the show, so even if you can’t be with them tonight, you can still watch it with your friends and community. Doesn’t it sound like a good plan for a Friday night? Check this page ( gofossilfree.org/ffe-tour-streaming/) tonight at 7 PM GMT to watch the event (check your local time here: timeanddate/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Fossil+Free+London+Tour+Stop&iso=20131101T19&p1=136&ah=3). The show starts at 7:30 PM and will be about 2.5 hours long. It will feature live music from ground-breaking artist Filastine, panel discussions, presentations by Bill McKibben(350.org), Kumi Naidoo (Greenpeace International), social movement leaders, campaigners, and organisers. There will be no intermission - so make sure to have some popcorn or crisps ready! Also, there’ll be screenings of the show organized by local hosts in many places across Europe. Maybe there’s one near you that you could join tonight -- check here ( act.350.org/event/fossil_free_screening/search/?akid=3734.815756.MYsOPc&rd=1&t=4) if there’s a livestream gathering near your location, and make sure you RSVP. This would be a great opportunity to get a divestment discussion (and campaign) in your community. This can be a great chance to take the first steps towards getting divestment going in your city and country.
