Some times life is hard to get through but you do it anyway. Some times like today you feel just that much closer to your dreams. Today i got on the slip wait list for commercial slip in Oceanside. It cost me $90 which will be my gas and food money for the month but hey it is worth it. I will make it through I always do but it is hard on SSI to keep this up but I am determined not to let little things like food or gas deter me from this goal! I will make it and when I do I will have succeeded in doing the impossible! I have friends that will help me out through this and I know I am not alone in this but months of living like this is hard on a person. But today i got that much closer to my goal. Tomorrow I will do it again and push forward. All of the degrading stuff is just temporary. Asking for help is temporary and the pain and the heat and being sick and the head aces and the burns and the tiredness and the just surviving shit will all pass and the joy of seeing another disabled persons face as they come to life fishing and having fun will be my reward through all of this. To be involved in being human and helping another human is, and will be worth all of this stuff.... So I push on and get it done! Today was a great day and I got closer to my dream.
