Some tips and tricks to help the candidates prepare well for Physics exam Before starting to learn or memorize anything, candidates should once read the entire book thoroughly. Understanding all the concepts is important than just mugging up. While reading, prepare revision lists. The candidates can divide the list, chapter wise or topic wise. The list can also be bifurcated into three separate columns having formulae, definitions and derivations. The candidates should practice graphs and diagrams properly as they help to score good. Also, diagrams and graphs help to explain an answer in a better way. It shows the examiner that the candidate has thorough knowledge of the subject. In case of any doubts, the candidates should clear them with the teacher as soon as possible. After the teacher explains, revise again for a better and clear understanding of the topic. The candidates should practice all the NCERT questions, both solved and unsolved as majority of the CBSE Exam is based on NCERT books. Be meticulous in answering questions, correct S.I.units and other details are very important. The candidates may lose marks on an otherwise correct question if the minor details go missing. Not just the theory questions, the candidates should focus on numerical questions as well. The candidates should concentrate more on the topics that they are weak in. Although, the strong subjects should not be completely neglected or avoided, they should be revised too. The candidates should try to start with the subject they are most comfortable with. This will help boost the confidence for other subjects. Sample papers/ previous year question paper/ test papers should be practiced. This helps to figure out ones strengths and weaknesses. Once, the candidates know their weak areas, they can fix them. Also, the test papers should be solved within the time that is provided in the exam hall, this will give an idea of time management when appearing for the actual exam. The candidates can divide the answers into various points. This will give a neat and presentable look to the answers and help to score better. The candidates should read the syllabus at least twice.
