Some tips you could look at to maximize your time is to avoid the general perception in the work place that says you are not allowed to finish your work on time but the hours, using as little effort as possible. This is the rule that causes a lot of people to keep falling behind to deliver their reports and always complain about their own intentional efforts to miss the deadline. To maximize your time I recommend that one must practice the rule in reverse format: to finish the work and not the hours and invest the time left into something else.
