Some very narrow minded people have blamed everything from gas prices to burnt dinner on President Obama. They have short memories. The tea party sheep, in the House and Senate, vowed to vote against everything the President has tried to enact. They have done a lot of damage with this poor mind set. The President tried to address our crumbling infrastructure with proposals that would have, not only would ale the needed repairs, but would have put millions back to work in doing so. These projects include rebuilding our deteriorating roadways, designing and building new roads and highways, upgrading our commuter and freight railroads, and expanding most commuter railroads and building new commuter railway systems in growing urban areas. Many new jobs would become permanent with the maintenance required to keep the transportation industry safe. We will never know how successful the President would have been with these obstructionists who decided to turn on their constituents by bringing the Nations progress to a stand still. Then these same obstructionists decided to shut down the Government because they refused to work with their counterparts to pass a workable budget. They put the Nations credit worthiness in doubt and at risk of default. Now they point the finger at the President and, in essence, blames him for their short comings. I would have some respect for them if they had sincerely worked for the greater good instead of working to destroy the President. Now they have the gall to blame the Presidents and us Democrats for the high unemployment numbers. Hopefully, History, and the voters, will remember these homegrown deadbeats for what they didnt do.
