Some very nice feedback from the lovely Rachel, super-organised event manager of the recent SSSI event at the convention centre: Thank you so much for your truly wonderful performances on Friday. Apart from my own delight in hearing so many of my favourites performed so fabulously (thank you again for reminding me of what I wish I’d done with my life :) ) I have had many people already telling me what a great job you did. Including our event guy at the Convention Centre when I was packing stuff up this morning – he said that not only was your music wonderful but you pitched the volume and technical setup perfectly for the venue and the event. And just to add the final touches to my envy, you all looked so gorgeously glamorous and smokily jazzy. Congratulations again – if you ever need a reference or referral I would be delighted to oblige.
