Some where down the road I would like to finally bring my bus home and keep it parked on the side of the house. I have been looking at two type of shelters to keep the bus parked under. My question is my bus is 40 feet long. This shelter would be the size of 41 feet long by 18 wide. I certainly do no want to have a concrete pad that big. I would like to just have two concrete sections with grass in the middle. My question is my bus is a wide body at 102 Inch in width. 1) What size would you make each section of concrete- width wise? 2) The bus (I think) is 49,000 lbs , so how deep, how much gravel & grade 3) Type of concrete and thickness. The thought process is someday when I move the shelter could be used again for RV use or some pavers could be placed and landscaping and it could be used as a covered area for parties and such. Just kicking this around and any input is very much appreciated. Tully
