Some years ago a family was known for their unique life style so that people around could see a clear cut difference and a life worthy of emulation. but as years gone by, the style went on but the life was no more, they could not uphold the life, faith and traditions like the Racabites. The path of least resistance easily appeals to most people. Very few will dare plod the rigorous avenue laden with thorns and thistles. Even so, adherents to strict, altruistic convictions are not easy to come by. At the cross when u first saw the light, your heart was burning with heavy passion and all you desire was Him but now, tis the style not the life youre living. You place priority on the things that nourish the body and you starve the soul. Jacob discovered that the so called riches cant save him from the impending judgement, he gave it up, we say it doesnt matter, its the mind not the body, forgetting that is the fruit of the mind the body bears and its manifestation we see. WHERE IS YOUR CONVINCTION? where is your passion? Jesus is not poor but you forgot that its only through HOLINESS a lasting wealth and success is found. Can the world truely see JESUS in you, His life in the way that you live, are you still faithful and true? What God requires from you is not the STYLE but the LIFE of JESUS! blowing tongues without the power is a sytle not the life. i conclude with the words of that great apostle philipians 4v 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
