Somebody gave me some grief about my antifluoridation stance I am not a conspiracy theorist nor am I ignorant the fact is I have used fluoride acids to promote bonds in metals fluoride IS TOXIC it is indisputable...nor is it naturally in tooth enamel....there are very esteemed Drs and scientists who dispute its safety and it has definitively poisoned people the Journals I posted are highly respected and FYI if you think city water cant have these abnormally high levels of this toxin here is a abstract from none other than the NEW ENGLAND JOURNAL OF MEDICINE citing 296 people being ill with Fluoride poisoning and one death in an Alaskan municipality.....for those people not versed in chemistry let me repeat Fluoride is THE most reactive elemet in the periodic table.... this is why it is used for nuclear enrichment ( it reliably bonds to the minute amounts of uranium in coal ore dust).... it is also why it is used in aluminum production (similar process using raw bauxite ore.....that said PERHAPS it might have some use TOPICALLY as a treatment/preventative for dental caries but orally it will just bond rapidly in the digestive tract where it will play havoc with metabolic systems....these are simple facts folks even if we need a little Fl in our diet it is not the same as the highly reactive ions of artificially created fluoride (thats right if it is naturally in the water then it has had many years to react with other compounds) in fact it is quite likely that any positive effect it might have on dental health would not be by strengthening enamel but the natural bacteriostatic effects that most refined metallic salts possess (sodium hypochlorite for example ie bleach.... or the way a roof stays clean and mildew free in the areas below zinc rich galvanized flashing).... nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJM199401133300203
