Somebody is trying to cause false alarm and despondency by spreading a very dangerous rumour about me. I have it on good authority that someone is telling people that I have stopped drinking. Imagine me of all people in beer industry! I therefore would like to categorically state that at no point did I ever attempt to stop drinking or even contemplated that idea, let alone even dreamt about it. Those r lies perpetrated by my enemies who want to tarnish my good reputation. Please ignore these unwarranted rumours and go ahead with your planned move of inviting me for a beer today as you already know that I never leave a friday unpunished.
