Somebody ought to tell this to the Washington Supreme Court. The Court requires the legislature to provide ample funding to the schools for education. According to Michelle Darnell 2014 we spend approximately $12,000 per student now. The Washington Supreme Court shows no common sense requiring the legislature to increase this amount as it is obvious the state cannot educate homeless and/or starving children. Yet, in other decisions, the Court incentives the wrongful foreclosure of Washington residents homes by insulating criminals from the damages availble to anyone else who has been injured by similar tortious activity. I ran for Supreme Court a couple years ago because of Washington courts decisions that the Seattle School Board could hold multiple hearings throughout the city (at what must have been a tremendous cost) and not keep any record of the record of the evidence the parents presented. Denying basic constitutional law, the court held no record was needed for the decision making or the courts oversight of such decision making. Our court cant even get a handle on on its own subject matter jurisdiction. scholar.google/scholar_case?case=14414602002282824027&q=buecking&hl=en&as_sdt=6,38 And now the justices want to run the schools? Gimme a break.
