Somebody said elsewhere that he had scored the performance of the Dickson Administration 32 %. This seems every bit a canard! But we dont need to quarrel or affront anybody over this because we are civilized. We only need to know where the person is coming from. The person in question was part of the defunct Sylva administration. It is therefore not surprising that he has come up with that kind of verdict. Before we begin to discuss giving pass marks or fail marks, we need look at the parameters of good governance as set out by UN, which include but not limited to transparency, accountability, respect for the Rule of Law, consensus-oriented, participatory, responsive, equitable, inclusive, effective and efficient. We can report all amount confidence that the wholly redemptive and restorative government of Governor Seriake Dickson has met all these assessment criteria. Besides, the Dickson Administration has demonstrated in very practical terms that the welfare and security of the peole are the raison dêtre of the vital institution of the state called GOVERNMENT. We have seen governments come and go in Bayelsa State, and when we see one that is businesslike, and passionate about the development our state we quickly identify it. The Dicksons is a textbook example, hence the huge following and solidarity. L
