Somebody told me the other day, your posts on FB and Instagram portray you as somebody that is not humble. Well anybody who knows me, knows that I treat everybody I come in contact with; with the very respect that I myself demand. I have NEVER been the type to turn my nose up at anybody. However, I am confident and extremely proud of the man I have become. I am very assertive when it comes to the tasks I can perform, the healthy life style I live, and the fiscally responsible manner in which I live my life. I think it is imperitive that America see more images of young, black, successful men that are financially reponsible, healthy eating, God fearing, faithful husbands, that are upstanding citizens. Especially with the narrative that is portrayed of the Black man by the media. So no, I am not humble. Humble is a word used for underacheivers with with no confidence in themselves. I am confident, but respectful. If a boxer is humble what happens to him? He gets his ass kicked. To be great, you have to believe youre great. To be an Alpha male, you have to believe you are the best. Stop walking soflty people, be proud and confident in who you are. Be bright and bold for the whole world to see. Be an example to those that follow behind you. What the hell is the point of building a nice body if youre gonna wear baggy clothes, what is the point of buying nice things if youre gonna hide them away in a corner somewhere... I will continue to be the same person I have been whether folks like it or not, because I know that I did it the RIGHT way...
